BROCOAT ENGINEERING sustains an unrivalled and competent Quality Control (QC) infrastructure. We encourage all QC team members to participate in the FROSIO and ISO programs, and advance their profession as their experience grows.

Together with the process management led by FROSIO LEVEL III Certified Surface Treatment Inspectors, all Quality Control team members are proficient in the vital QC functions such as:

• Contract specifications, kick-off and progress meetings, daily logs
• Inspection and testing definitions, legal requirements and regulations
• Laboratory usage and calibrations of the test equipment

• Pre-blast inspections, blast cleanliness, surface profile readings, timekeeping logs
• Monitoring environmental conditions such as temperature and relative humidity, calculating dew points
• Reading and comprehending product technical data sheets (TDS)
• Controlling quantities and proper classification
• Reviewing of material safety data sheets (MSDS) for safe storage, handling and transportation
• Material and instrument selection for applications
• Performing pre application assessments for coating systems and instructing of the operators

• Paint batch and expire date recordings
• Mixing ratio and color controls

• Consumption and loss calculations and reports
• Nozzle type and size selection, pressure and angle assessments

• Gloss measurements

• Touchup and necessary repairs
• Performing all required tests
• Using reference standards and job specific quality procedures for a complete final report of all executed applications

BROCOAT ENGINEERING is ISO certified and will be FROSIO-CP certified as of the first quarter of 2024. These certifications require extensive record keeping and strict criteria adherence. Our quality control department have been retaining our certifications above minimum acceptance standards, and valid without interruption since the first day.
